A rare September snowstorm hit California's highest peak as a winter storm lifted the Los Angeles mountains overnight.
This blizzard warning is believed to be the first issued since 1988, according to LS Assessments National Situation Forecast.
Winter conditions and large swaths on the other side of the warning states, which have initiated rapid weather movements, include members of the two groups of winter storms, wind chills, and frosts.

The communities of Los Angeles and Ventura, just north of downtown Los Angeles, were on maximum air conditioning alert ahead of the early morning snowstorm's expected arrival. So far, communities along Interstate 5, which connects the valley region centered in Southern California, have seen nearly two to four inches of snow in the past 24 hours.
The winter storm warning is expected to change to a severe thunderstorm warning from 4 am.
Leaders urge residents in blizzard areas not to travel down-country because around here, Utah snow and 80 mph winds could cause blinding conditions for residents.
Areas may see snow accumulations between 2,000 and 4,000 feet and 2 to 5 feet above 4,000 feet.
Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you can travel, have a winter survival kit with you, Haram Safety Warning. If you read the intent, contact your vehicle.
